A paraffin fuse is something in between a classic firework fuse and a candlewick. It is very easy to light (just a few sparks from a flint) and at the same time, burning slower than a fuse, it produces a flame similar to a candlewick. What is important, after the flame is blown out, it still smolders for some time, giving the possibility to use the embers if necessary.

Small steel spark striker that works perfectly with the flint. Thanks to serrated blade, if necessary can be used as a micro-knife (can successfully cut e.g. a rope/string) or a scraper (can grind e.g huba for kindling or more magnesium filings from the core of the flint).
