EASY Tarp comes complete with everything you need for effective setup and secure anchoring. In the package, you’ll find:

1. 6 lightweight, alu Y stakes.

   With a length of 18cm and a cross-sectional shape resembling the letter Y, these stakes provide secure and durable anchoring for the EASY Tarp, even in challenging terrain. Whether you’re using them on the beach, in the forest, or on a mountain trail, these stakes will confidently keep the tarp in place. They are both lightweight (12g) and durable, and their orange color makes them easy to spot on the ground.

2. 6 guy lines with tensioners.

   Long, 3m guy lines with tensioners significantly simplify adjusting the tarp’s tension and adapting it to changing terrain and weather conditions. You can quickly and easily adjust the tension without the need for additional tools or knots. The extended guy lines provide considerable flexibility in choosing attachment points, allowing you to customize the tarp for different configurations.

3. 2 PRUSIK-PRO loops.

   These elastic loops with hooks are highly functional, allowing for easy and secure tensioning of the tarp on the ridgeline. They can also be used as dynamic guy lines. Additionally, they serve as an excellent attachment point for packing the tarp on a backpack or bike frame.

4. 10 meters ridgeline.

   This lengthy cord provides significant flexibility in adapting the tarp to various terrain conditions.

5. Spacious transport bag

   Everything is neatly stowed in a convenient and relatively large transport bag. It comes equipped with transport handles at the bottom and on the side of the bag, facilitating easy transport and storage. A quite clever idea is to weave the Prusik pro loops through the bag handles and the MOLLE/PALS loops of a backpack or bike frame. This way, the tarp will be securely fastened and compressed simultaneously.

The durability of the outdoor gear is not only about solid craftsmanship but also about safeguards that protect the gear from damage. Both tensioners and PRUSIK-PRO loops play a crucial role in absorbing tensions during the use of the tarp. If unexpected forces or tensions exceed safe limits, the guy lines may slip out of the tensioner, and loop cords may ultimately disengage from the hooks. These are planned safeguards to shield the tarp from damage.

Our PRUSIK-Pro loops are crafted from elastic cord to stretch appropriately at the right moment and return to the proper tension during regular use. However, if the forces are too great, the elastic cord may slip out of the hook. This is the ultimate defensive mechanism for the loops, designed to protect the tarp from damage. In this way, the plastic hooks on the loop act as a kind of safety feature.

If the need arises, inserting the end (or ends) of the cord back into the hook is extremely simple. Just lift the flap on the top side of the hook, place the end of the cord in the gap between the flap and the main part of the hook, and then close the flap. It is important to avoid such situations, as they indicate excessive stress or tension on the tarp and its attachment points, which may result in the loss of warranty.

Regardless of the precision of craftsmanship and the applied safeguards, it is advisable to act wisely, not unnecessarily exposing the equipment to damage. To preserve the warranty, use all provided tensioners when setting up the tarp.
